Terms of service
Gondola is a marketplace that routes AI requests to compute listed by independent lenders. These are the rules for using it.

What Gondola is
Gondola is a broker. Lenders deposit Venice AI API keys and set a price for their unused daily inference allowance. Buyers call our API and each request is routed to the cheapest active offer, metered, and settled in USDC. Gondola is operated by the Gondola project and can be reached at support@gondola-ai.com. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Venice AI.
Accounts and keys
You sign in with a wallet. You are responsible for the wallet and for any API keys you mint, and for activity under them. API keys spend your prepaid balance, so treat them like cash and use the per-key spend limits if you share them. Lenders must only deposit Venice keys they own and control. A key deposited by more than one account is treated as shared or leaked and is blocked for everyone until ownership is proven by rotating it at Venice and listing the fresh key.
Payments
Buyer balances are prepaid usage credit, funded by USDC deposits on Base and consumed per request. For each request we place a hold covering the estimated cost plus a platform fee of up to 2 percent, and at settlement we charge for actual usage and return the rest of the hold to your balance automatically. A request that fails is not charged. A streamed response you stop partway is charged only for the tokens generated before you stopped. Lender earnings accrue per settled request (the posted price minus a platform fee of up to 2 percent, with pass-through add-on costs reimbursed) and can be withdrawn to the payout address you set, which can be any Base address, subject to a small minimum that protects against gas-draining tiny payouts. On-chain transactions are irreversible by nature, so check addresses carefully.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything illegal, and comply with Venice AI's terms for the content you generate. Do not attempt to extract other users' data, overload the service, or probe deposited keys. We may suspend keys or accounts that abuse the marketplace or its lenders.
Pricing and availability
Prices are set by independent lenders and change with the market. Each request is priced when it is accepted, and the current catalog is public at /marketplace and at GET /v1/models. Capacity depends on what lenders have listed. The service is provided as is, without uptime guarantees, and models can appear, change price, or disappear as the upstream catalog and the marketplace move.
Age
The service is not intended for anyone under 18.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gondola's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the platform fees Gondola earned from you in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for the content that models generate, for upstream outages, or for losses caused by compromised wallets or shared API keys. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you, or excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the date at the top changes when we do. Material changes will be announced on the site, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
